Role Summary
The purpose of the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Administrative Support role is to assist with a wide range of tasks related to RES’ O&M service including safety, quality, maintenance compliance and financial performance. In particular, the role will focus on accurate job completion, timely invoicing and resolving debtor queries.
The ideal candidate will be from an administration background with experience of invoicing and have good spreadsheet skills. A high level of organisation and computer literacy is required to be successful in this role. A good level of commercial awareness would be beneficial.
This is a fixed term role of 6 months which is primarily based at our office in Exeter. The role is ideally full time, although applicants working 4 days per week would also be considered.
Key Accountabilities
The responsibilities include providing administrative support across the solar portfolio, including:
- Monitoring compliance with maintenance schedules, ensure high quality of documentation of completed maintenance, identify upcoming maintenance tasks, and highlight overdue items for attention.
- Supporting in the review of completed work orders to ensure correct commercial categorisation.
- Supporting the team to ensure client invoicing for any chargeable items (including spare parts) is carried out accurately and promptly
- Monitoring financial accruals and checking for accuracy and timely closure
- Support managers in reviewing the monthly financial results against expectations and help identify improvements required
- Supporting the RES Credit Control team with resolving invoice queries raised by debtors
- Other similar duties commensurate with the role
